"Place-Making:" Crafting an Unforgettable Luxury Brand Experience-Evening

Already a member?

"Place-Making" is not just about brick and mortar. It is also about the virtual store and a "Place" in the mind and heart of the buyer. Whether "the conversation" with the best customer starts at the shopping center or store, or through social media or e-commerce, or through every facet of advertising and promotion, the best luxury brands create environments that connect emotionally, deeply and make the guest feel right at home.

Ken Nisch, Chairman, JGA Inc. (whose clients include Disney, Godiva, Whole Foods, Sleep Number, Museum of Art and Design, Shinola and Trina Turk) will focus on how luxury brands can emotionally engage the most sophisticated buyers by enlivening and reinventing the retail experience. Luxury marketers can heighten success through visual storytelling, technology, touch points such as scent and sound and elements such as finishes, fixtures, propping and lighting. Please join us to explore how "Place-Making" can transform the shopping experience by providing the ultimate, branded, luxury environment and experience.

Ken will talk about:

  • How the buying experience is enhanced by context, content and customers.
  • How to develop and cultivate an emotional connection with your customers.
  • How technology can dramatically add to visual storytelling.
  • How luxury brands leverage their best customers' rapidly growing interest in bespoke experiences.

Please join us on May 10 as we explore the concept of "Place-Making" and how to craft an Unforgettable Luxury Brand Experience.
